Cái tâm bất toại
Màn mưa giăng chuỗi hạt dầm
Gió về trong tiếng thì thầm cỏ hoang
Ngang trời mây xóa nắng vàng
Bước trầm tư bỏ địa đàng phía sau
Một vùng tâm khảm nát nhàu
Con đường vô định bụi ngầu vết chân
Cuộc đời chắc đã bao lần
Để niềm nghi hoặc xám dần vành môi
Hình như trong mỗi con người
Cái tâm bất toại có thời sơ sinh
Mang theo vào cuộc đăng trình
Đến hay không đến, vô tình chẳng hay
Ngẩn đầu hứng hạt mưa bay
Trên bờ sông vắng chiều nay lỡ đò.

Unsatisfied mind
The monsoon rain is bearing down like a curtain with strings of water beads
The wind comes back with whispers of wild grass
Across the sky, clouds erase the honey sunlight
Thought-laden, heavy steps left Eden behind
A heart torn apart
Footprints on the dusty road to nowhere
How many times in life
Doubts and self-doubts have turned the lips pale
It seems that the unsatisfied mind is innate in every person
Taking it on the journey, one
incidentally is not aware if the destination is reached
Looking up to catch the falling raindrops
On the desolate riverside this afternoon, someone's missed the ferry *).
*) missing the ferry is a metaphor in Vietnamese for missing an important opportunity, the chance in life
