The question is how damaged will the USA be after the Coronavirus.. I am an American but at least China has finally contained the virus due to taking extreme action (Taiwan and South Korea did an absolute EXCELLENT JOB because they really did contain the virus despite predictions saying they were going to do bad, they took extreme action and didn't ask "who's going to pay for it").. the USA is now number 1 in the world for Coronavirus cases and probably deaths soon. You CANNOT get a Coronavirus test in the USA unless you are very rich with connections OR if you are on the verge of dying.. So the USA will be extremely damaged due to Trump's poor leadership and the greed of politicians who are looking to protect their corporate donors and themselves and leave the people to fend for themselves. China will probably recover since they have gotten things under control and took extreme measures.. the USA is doing extremely poorly and the Coronavirus got worse because Trump didn't do enough to stop it and certain political leaders also didn't take big enough action (such as Florida who didn't shut down beaches). So China will be fine, China has 4x the population than the USA but they somehow contained it.. the USA is the worst in the world. I am an American citizen and just because I'm criticizing Trump and corrupt politicians doesn't mean I'm unAmerican… New York's death count is very high while nurses are wearing trash bags for protection and nurses are dying because of it, the healthcare workers are risking their lives because Trump thinks nurses are stealing masks so he refuses to provide enough resources. Trump is withholding supplies unless governors and mayors bow down and praise him (as we heard in a leaked phonecall).. Trump is an absolute monster.
Trump in January and February downplayed Coronavirus but also sold our stockpile of medical supplies to China… that was a huge mistake because it started to hit us hard in March and thus why we have a big shortage of medical supplies and people died because of that.. one of the NYC nurses wearing trash bags in that viral photo to you saw actually died from the virus.
I don't support communism but I support Democrat Socialism with nationalized universal healtcare because right now the average cost to get treated for COVID-19 in America is about $30,000-$35,000 (or $75,000 if you don't have health insurance) and Trump only gave everyone a one time payment of $1200 and no healthcare costs waived (except the testing although reports show people still had to pay money for the COVID test). At least China has all their people covered, in the USA we don't guarantee healthcare as a right and people are either getting turned away because of no health insurance or they become bankrupt. If you look at Norway, Iceland, Canada, etc. they have Democratic socialism and they prioritize protecting their people. We also need UBI universal basic income.. Canadians are getting an ongoing $2000 a month plus free healthcare while some Americans like a 17 year old boy was turned away from the hospital emergency room because he simply didn't have health insurance… that boy later died. Let me remind you Biden said he will veto Medicare for all and said Italy was proof Universal healthcare doesn't work during a pandemic (which is obviously false). I already mentioned the average cost for COVID-19 treatment is $30,000-$35,000, but $75,000 for those who don't have health insurance and many lost their jobs so they have no insurance, plus insurance premiums are expected to spike 40% next year which is insane. One doctor from New York according to a Facebook post said one of his COVID-19 patient said in his last dying breath, "who's going to pay for it", as he was absolutely terrified about the medical bill he will get.. but he died and those were his last words which struck the doctor very hard and he wanted to share it on Facebook. Bernie says he will make the corporations and Wallstreet pay their fair share and wants everyone to have guaranteed heathcare as a human right, not get turned away like that 17 year old boy that died. We need Bernie Sanders as president more than ever, the Democratic election is delayed so there's still a narrow path for Bernie to be president.. it's up to the American people now to think about what they want the future to be.
UPDATE: Bernie Sanders now has dropped out because he doesn't want to risk people's lives anymore with them going to vote like what happened in Wisconsin, they are risking people's lives just so that Biden can win. Bernie is still working in Congress so it doesn't mean he isn't going to stop fighting for us, and Bernie has officially endorsed Joe Biden for president. So really it's another 4 more years of Trump or Biden, but it's still possible to win seats in Congress by electing progressive left politicians to take over seats like how we did in the 2018 election.
